Important tips if your TV is not turning on after replacing the lamp:
- The lamp door must be reinstalled before
plugging the TV back into the outlet and trying to turn it on. Ensure
the lamp door is on securely (all screws reinstalled) and unplug the TV
for 2 minutes,
then plug back in and turn it on.
- Most TVs have an "initialization
period" after they have been plugged back into the outlet that lasts
from 15 seconds to 1 minute. The TV will not turn on or respond during
this "initialization period".
