Mitsubishi DLP TVs have a common issue that triggers the lamp indicator even after replacing the lamp. There can be several bad capacitors on the power supply and/or signal board of TV causing this symptom. This is simple to check for. Take the back of the TV off and look on the left side of the TV for capacitors that are leaking or look swollen. The "Capacitor Check/Repair" button below will take you to a webpage created by a previous customer that details how to look for this problem and repair it yourself possibly. If you see bad capacitors, you could change them yourself and save hundreds of dollars or call an authorized technician for further repair. If the capacitors look normal, you should contact who you purchased the lamp from for a warranty claim to eliminate the lamp as causing this problem.
